RENOVATION OF THE BARN AND A REQUEST FOR NEEDED EQUIPMENT
The Borough of Midland Park is excited to invite everyone to be a part of the 2008 renovation of the Barn donated by The Marion & Silfred DePhillips Foundation. In addition, the Football and Cheerleading association has donated the addition of the storage facility to the barn. It will be a modern and environmentally friendly facility including a new geothermal HVAC system and other energy efficient features.

Once complete, the “new” barn to be named The DePhillips Center will support a wide variety of programs and events for adults and children alike for the next century.

At this time we ask that anyone interested in donating any of the outstanding furnishings and equipment needs (click here for list) to contact Lori Dent via email @ rec@mpnj.com or dial 201 445-0993. In conjunction with Betty Sullivan and the 'Restore the Barn Fund' the town has also established an account to accept monetary donations. ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS
Effective March 1, 2008, using a handheld cell phone while operating a motor vehicle will be a primary offense which allows officers to conduct motor vehicle stops solely for this violation. Using a handheld cell phone includes talking and text messaging. This is a moving violation and fines begin at $100. Midland Park Police will begin enforcing this law on March 1, 2008.
