The only fines that can be paid at the police station are
the snow parking violations. All other fines must be paid at
the court of issue fines can paid online at
Municipal Court Direct.
Motor Vehicle Accident reports can be purchased at
the police building during the following hours (please note
that a 1 hour lunch will be taken between 12:30 - 1:30 PM).
You can also mail in a request for the report along with a
check to the police department. All requests by mail must
include a SASE and a check payable to the Midland Park Police
Dept. There is a $.75 charge per page for pages 1-10. A $.50
charge per page thereafter.:
The police department offers fingerprinting to township
residents for a $10 fee. The person requesting the service
must provide the cards and photo identification at the time of
the service. Please call 201-444-2300 to schedule an
appointment for fingerprinting.
A person who receives a traffic or parking citation may
contest it by contacting the
Midland Park Municipal Court. A court administrator will assign a
court date. On the specified date, the person will be able to
plead his/her case before a judge. Additional information can
be obtained by calling the Midland Park Municipal Court at
(201) 445-3838.
If you have any questions regarding your traffic citation,

445-3838. The Midland Park Police Department is not authorized
to supply information regarding the disposition or future
outcome of any citation.
There are certain steps you should
follow for your safety as well as to assist you through the
entire process.
- Regardless of the severity of the damage, always call
the police department to respond and make a report. We can
be reached at (201) 444-2300
- NEVER leave the scene of an accident without first
reporting the accident to a police officer.
- If your vehicle is still in the roadway, there are NO
injuries reported as a result of the collision and your
vehicle is safe to do so, carefully move your vehicle to a
safe location (i.e. shoulder of roadway or parking lot)
- If you are unable to move your vehicle safely to another
location, remain in your vehicle until assistance arrives.
Unless your vehicle is in a hazardous location, then
dismount your vehicle and go to a safe location.
- Attempt to refrain from arguing with any other persons
involved in the collision.
- Retrieve your driver's license, registration and
insurance card. Be prepared to produce these documents to
the officer who responds to investigate your collision.
- When an officer asks you questions pertaining to the
collision, attempt to give a clear and concise account of
the accident. Do not feel that any piece of information is
too minor to report.
- Ask the officer for your case number so you can give
that case number to the Police Records Bureau when
retrieving your accident report.
- You may obtain a copy of your accident report after 5
working days at the Midland Park Police Department.
The Police Department has a portable
electronic speed sign that is strategically located in target
areas it is used as a deterrent and to educate people of their

The Borough of Midland Park prohibits
overnight parking on Borough streets between the hours of
2:00am and 6:00am except on Sundays and Holidays. During snowy
weather overnight parking can be prohibited despite the above
exceptions.
